Lars J NilssonProfessor of Environmental & Energy Systems Studies and Head of the Department of Technology and Society at Lund University Latest IPCC report and what it means for industry development
The target of a maximum of 1.5 C heating can be achieved if emissions start to decrease now and decrease rapidly to reach net zero emissions by 2050. The possibilities for action for industry extend across the entire value chain from more efficient material use to electrification and in some cases carbon dioxide storage. This means new sector links and value chains, and probably the location of energy-intensive industry in regions with rich access to renewable energy.

PinkSafety will create a service for women's safety in society. During our presentation, we will tell you about our business idea, the need and how we will realize the service. The presentation will include a detailed plan of how the service is intended to work, its scalability and USP. Our business idea is right in time considering how much the technology has developed and the need is enormous. With the help of experienced entrepreneurs and people in the advertising industry, we will make our idea fully functional.
Maya Malmqvist
We at PinkSafety are two very ambitious and driven 18-year-old girls who are passionate about women's safety in society. We have on most occasions felt that it would be nice to be able to accompany someone as it increases safety for us women. We were commissioned to create a UF project and we quickly felt that our idea is realistic, simple, scalable but not least important. As proof of this, we won the competition "Innovation of the Year" in Skåne 2022 and were also invited to pitch our idea at Ideon Science Park in Lund on 2/6 2022. As this is the first time we run a company, we have no direct experience and we have seeked help throughout the journet from experienced entrepreneurs. It has been instructive and we have faced many different challenges and despite the fact that we are constantly learning, there is still a lot to learn. We two represent a typical example of the large part of the female population that we turn to as we feel very strongly that focus and arrangements for women's safety must be prioritized. In a developed and democratic society, it should be an absolute matter that women should feel safe and have total and unconditional freedom of movement and a sense of freedom without being assaulted or subjected to sexual assault.
